Florian Krieg has worked as a patent attorney at Flügel Preissner Schober Seidel since 2012 and has been a partner since 2017.
Florian Krieg’s professional activities cover all aspects of industrial property protection. He has extensive experience in the prosecution and defence of protective rights before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), the Federal Patent Court (BPatG), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He also advises companies in matters concerning the Law on Employees‘ Inventions.
The main technical focus of his activities lies in the fields of mechanics, classic mechanical engineering, automotive technology and aerospace technology.
Florian Krieg comes from Munich. He completed his school education in Munich /Haar in 2000 and then studied mechanical engineering and management at the Technical University in Munich from 2001 to 2007 where he specialised in production management and production technology. While he was studying, he also worked for MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, Moog Italiana S.r.l. and BMW AG. He wrote his dissertation while he was working at EADS Astrium GmbH on the subject of “Development of a Qm methodology for production.”
In 2008 he began his professional training as a patent attorney at Flügel Preissner Schober Seidel, and also at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Federal Patent Court. In addition he has also completed studies in law at the distance-learning University of Hagen.
