Rolf Lechner has been working as a patent professional at Flügel Preissner Schober Seidel since 2019. The main focus of his activities is in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive technology and medical technology.
Rolf Lechner was born in Augsburg in 1989 and obtained his general higher education entrance qualification in the UK. The Master of Engineering degree was awarded to him by the Imperial College London for his successfully completed mechanical engineering studies. For his ensuing business engineering studies he was awarded with a Master of Science by the Technical University of Munich.
Besides to his studies he gained work experience with an international welding machine producer in Augsburg, a nuclear research institute in the field of cryogenic cooling in Geneva and an automobile manufacturer in Munich in the field of passive automotive safety testing for the development of seat designs. From 2015 until 2019 he did his doctorate in the field of the passive automotive safety department for vehicle seat designs at the Technical University of Graz in collaboration with BMW.
Rolf Lechner is primarly involved in applications and oppositions before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the European Patent Office.
