Professional liability insurance for our firm is provided by R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG, contract number 406 25 024708071. The territorial coverage provided by the insurance extends to include activities worldwide and thus meets the requirements § 45 of the German Law on Patent Attorneys (PAO)

Professional liability

Under the Federal Lawyers Act lawyers are obliged to maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 250,000. per case. Details are to be found in § 51 BRAO.
